Horoscope Predictions for Libra 2012-2013

Happy Birthday Libra. Even though Libra is the sign of relationships, it's the only sign that is represented by an object, the scales. All the other signs are represented by either animals or people. Libra's goal is to achieve balance. To do this the scales may swing widely in one direction or the other. Though Libras may argue with you, it's just because they want the other point of view expressed. Despite this Libras are generally diplomatic, refined and peace-loving. On the other side they can be indecisive and accommodating to a fault. Here are the predictions for Libras, for the coming year, birthday to birthday.

This is a year where your focus is on you, for a change. It's important to find out what you want, what you like and what is important to you. This year you need to ask yourself what you want before you ask others what they want.

This is a year you can lose weight. There is a lot of emphasis this year on taking care of yourself physically. You will change up your exercise routine and find new enjoyable ways to work out. And you will find that healthy eating is easier this year and really delicious.

This is a good money year if you expend a little effort to get it. There will be opportunities to increase your take home pay through career shifts, extra work, or by doing a hobby that pays off. Investments on the other hand, are best left alone. Don't be swayed by a rocky market, stay the course and be ready to buy low and hold.

There's travel this year. At least one trip that brings you closer to friends and family. There's also a strong possibility of a new vehicle this year. Look for a vehicle you find attractive that also has the practical gas mileage you want.

In the area of romance there's a possible connection with someone who started out as a friend. If you're already in a relationship you will find yourselves in a little bit of a rut. Try to get out of the house for a “date” with each other.

Overall this year will start out with a few headaches. You may have a list of things to do that's a mile long. But in a month or so you will feel the joy of this new chart and you'll start to feel the positive energy.

Saturn Leaves Libra: Time to Plan, Prepare and Declutter

Of all the planets, Saturn has the most noticeable affect on our lives. Saturn is about the practical, things like our career and reputation in the world. Saturn is about restrictions and the things we feel hold us back in life. And Saturn is about achievement and our desire to do better than we've done before.

Saturn takes about two and a half years to go through a sign and right now it's getting ready to leave Libra (a place where it's actually happy) and go into Scorpio (where it's less happy). So if you've felt a little crazed with the amount on your plate this week, it's Saturn. And this feeling is going to last from now until October 6th. Here's how to use this manic energy in a beneficial way.

It's time to declutter. When Saturn leaves a sign it is a signal it's time to clean and clear out the old to make room for the new projects coming. Lay out your unwanted items on a table, snap a few pictures and make a list of what's going to each charity. Then load everything in a box and truck it on over there. Drop the list into your tax file along with the charity receipt and upload your photos into your tax folder and you'll be all ready for next April.

It's time to be secure. Saturn going into Scorpio reminds us that we need to be careful even when we toss stuff. So this is a good time to catch up on your shredding. Shredding is the best way to keep your private information out of the hands of strangers who might be digging through your trash. If it's too much to shred yourself consider going to a shredding service. Ones I've been to will let you watch as they destroy your stuff.

It's time to be prepared. It just so happens that Saturn is leaving Libra in September, National Preparedness Month. As a native Californian I always have my earthquake kit ready with extra food and water, food for the pets and a good, up-to-date first aid kit. And it's not just natural disasters to be prepared for. I've been through water main breaks and foot injuries and every time I was grateful to have supplies in the house. You can find more information about putting together your emergency kit at http://www.ready.gov/

It's time to plan. Saturn is the planet that rules achievement. Now is a good time to write out a plan for the next two and a half years. Write a list of what you want to accomplish in your career, financially, physically and personally. Print out the list and tape it to the back page of your dayplanner. That way you'll see it again in a few months and you can gauge your progress.
